Clan initialized

The idea of creating a clan (originally for playing CS) was brewed in the sick mind of the clan's leader, Yonatanz, a little while after CS was introduced to him by AK47 (who is the first player among the Nocturnus staff).
He immediately recruited all the other players, and the clan was founded.

First clan practice

After a few more people joined, the first clan practice took place at the clan HQ. An immediate success, it was followed by lots more.

CStats created
|

|
Following the first practice, statistics about performance where wanted. The available version of Half-Stats was not good enough, so Yonatanz created CStats - a C++ application for creating CS server statistics from log files.
The statistics shown on this site are created by the current version of this application.
Note that those pages are created from templates that can be changed by the user, so other servers can change the resulting pages to suit themselves.

Clan joined OGL

All clan members have joined OGL and the clan was officially initiated. It was challenged by clan [SoW], but the game didn't go forth as OGL went offline in order to move to version 2.
The new version of OGL is now available.

Clan server launched

A 24x7 dedicated clan server was launched; its password is available only to the clan members and those who contact them.

The www.noct.co.il web address was purchased by the clan and the web site moved from being hosted at www.nocturnus.co.il/noct to its current location (it can also be found at the original location).

Clan attended LAN party

Most of the clan members packed their computers and went on the road to the second CyberClubber-hosted LAN party, held at Disengoff Center, Tel-Aviv.
As a Jerusalem-based clan, this took a lot of planning and carefull arraging by the members, headed (as usual) by [NoCt]Yonatanz. We even bought clan T-Shirts for all.
The party itself was a bit disappointing, taking a long time to start; we got there at about 18:30, but there were still electricity and LAN problems for hours. But at about 20:30 the power and LAN came up,
and the shooting started. Eventually, fun was had by all, as the pictures of the event can show.

Practice Match against SoF

Practice Match against RS

After planning a practice match with RUS, we have been disappointed by their lack of showing up (after we have managed to set up a dedicated server!), RS has graciously agreed to come and play us instead.
It was a glorious fight, but we lost again.

Our newest clan member has suddenly left us to join a much bigger clan: [IDF]. Hopefully they'll see what a kluts he is and let us have him back, at least for practices.

For those of you who are keeping track, it will not come as a shock to learn that a Great Expedition was launched earlier this year; now it is somewhat over. [NoCt]Moondance and his secret secret agent has returned here because of an injury suffered in the line of duty.
And no, that's not a place, and neither is it a body part.
